Indoor Activities That Kids Will Love

ParentCircle, ParentcircleParentCircle

Playing games and physical activities are essential for the proper growth and development of children. Most children love to play outdoor games like football, cycling, badminton, skipping and cricket. Mayo Clinic says incorporating regular physical activity into your child’s daily routine will go a long way into laying the foundation for a lifetime of good health for your child.

But when the weather plays spoilsport and children have to remain indoors, what can they do to keep themselves engaged? It is during such times that we get to understand that indoor activities are no less important than outdoor ones.

There are a number of activities that you can ask your child to do enjoy time indoors. One of them is to organise a scavenger hunt indoors. This activity involves making a list of things that are hidden all over the house and challenging your child to find the items. Children love activities that involve searching for hidden objects. Another simple activity is the use of permanent markers to write different letters on the bubbles and setting a time limit for your child to pop the alphabets. Board games that can be played by the entire family is also a good way for not only keeping boredom at bay but also bonding with each other.
