Learning environments at school have their own challenges. While board exams extol students with rote learning processes, students often learn to perform only within patterns of study that box them into set formats of information gathering and delivery. Logical reasoning, Higher order thinking skills and self-development of the individual in such an environment often takes a back seat leading the child to be unduly stressed when challenged with competitive examinations that seek competence of a higher order. Hence it is important that children seek beyond the school environment such learning skills that will help them compete in a real world.
